The truth is that Inspiration can come out of nowhere, but it can also be hard to force. You simply can’t force inspiration. It hits when you least expect it, in unpredictable, yet at the right moment.
Noticing your negative tendencies is the first step to changing them. When you catch yourself thinking or acting in a way that clouds your judgement, replace that thought pattern with one that serves you better.
